The importance of group learning in the context of the parish cannot be overstated. Hearing others talk about teachings, and wrestle with questions in a safe space, under the guidance of the pastor or his designate- that’s where the really deep learning takes place.

Small groups are a deterrent for isolation. They allow for mentorship and growth that can’t happen alone or on a device. They provide accountability, they challenge participants with guided discussion and allow for the consideration of new information. Group learning allows for real relationships to be built.
